Rights and ownership

Staked through a wholly owned subsidiary

The Buckingham claims are being located by 999 Mines, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Triple 8 Mines, Inc. Once staked and recorded, Triple 8 will hold 100% of the claims through 999 Mines. Any royalty or other interest will be summarized here once confirmed by counsel.

A land-status review before staking found no other active mining claims on or near the claim area. Historical reports are not current technical disclosure and do not establish mineralization on the claims. Under the staking agreement, ground in the Merced River Wild and Scenic corridor or other land closed to mining will not be staked, so the final count may be lower than 86.

Scope: Exploratory, limited-field-check S-K 1300 Technical Report Summary based on the historical data package; full S-K 1300 with drilling later if results support it.

Target: Early 2027 working target, once the work is contracted and funded. Timing is a working target and is not guaranteed.

Any estimate of mineral resources or reserves would be published only in a technical report summary prepared and signed by a qualified person. Until then, this page reports the status of the work and does not report results.

Background

Claim type, maintenance and regional setting

About lode claimsWhat a lode claim is and how lode exploration typically proceeds

Lode claims cover classic veins or lodes having well-defined boundaries, and other rock in place bearing valuable mineral deposits. Federal statute limits a lode claim to a maximum of 1,500 feet along the vein or lode and a maximum width of 600 feet, 300 feet on either side of the centerline.

Lode exploration typically proceeds in stages, each decided on the results of the last:

  • Geological mapping and prospecting record rock types, structures, veins and old workings.
  • Surface sampling of rock, soil and stream sediment identifies areas worth closer work.
  • Trenching and geophysics trace structures beneath thin cover.
  • Drilling tests targets at depth. It requires the applicable notice or plan of operations.

This general description does not describe results on the Buckingham claims.

Claim maintenanceAnnual federal filings that keep unpatented claims in good standing

Unpatented mining claims on federal land must be maintained every year. The claimant pays an annual maintenance fee to the Bureau of Land Management on or before September 1. A claimant that holds 10 or fewer claims and sites nationwide may instead qualify for a small miner waiver, which requires at least $100 of assessment work on each claim each year.

For the 2027 assessment year, with filings due September 1, 2026, the BLM maintenance fee is $200 per lode claim. Newly located claims also carry a location fee and a processing fee when recorded. Missing a required filing can result in forfeiture of the claim. Counties may have their own recording requirements.

Responsibility for maintenance filings: 999 Mines, LLC, the company’s wholly owned subsidiary, as claimant of record. Current filing status: New claims. The first maintenance and location fees are paid when the claims are recorded, and the first annual maintenance fee is then due September 1, 2027.

About CaliforniaThe Gold Rush and the Mother Lode belt

California's Gold Rush followed James Marshall's discovery of placer gold at Sutter's Mill near Coloma in 1848.

The Mother Lode belt runs through the Sierra Nevada foothills in central California. It is about 150 miles long and a few miles wide, and extends north and northwest from the vicinity of Mariposa.

Regional history and production do not indicate that mineralization is present on the Buckingham claims.
