Team

A business-led team for idle mining claims

Many U.S. mining claims sit idle because their owners lack the capital, structure or buyer to advance them. Triple 8’s officers bring the skills that problem calls for: capital formation, transaction structuring, financial controls and corporate law. Technical work is done at each stage by independent Qualified Persons and specialist firms, and mining leadership is added as projects advance.

Ron Ause

More than 40 years building and scaling companies, from one of the earliest accounting systems for personal computers to co-founding Workamajig, an enterprise resource planning platform for creative firms.

Ron Ause has more than 40 years of experience building and scaling companies, with a focus on financial systems, operational discipline and commercial results.

He began his career in 1984 in a family technology business that developed one of the earliest accounting systems for personal computers. He worked with clients to implement the software and helped businesses improve efficiency and scale. He later established and led management consulting practices, including a specialized practice serving advertising agencies and corporate creative departments.

In 2001 he co-founded Workamajig, a web-based enterprise resource planning platform for creative firms. He led the company’s growth for more than fifteen years, and in 2017 he moved to an ongoing consulting relationship with the company. Since 2022 he has been a partner in Launchpad Ventures with Colleen Manley, the company’s Secretary.

At Triple 8 he applies the same discipline: every claim group has a defined scope, a budget and a decision point before more money is committed. He is responsible for the company’s overall management and for putting in place the operating, financial and reporting practices a development-stage mining company needs before a public listing. As founder and one of the company’s principal shareholders, he is the person claim owners and investors deal with directly.

For your review

What the team means for you

Each reader asks a different question of a management team. Here is the honest answer to each.

Accredited investors & clubs

Is management aligned with me?

  • The President is the founder and a principal shareholder: an owner, not a hired manager holding only options.
  • Spending is staged, so capital goes only where results support it.
  • The first S-K 1300 program is funded by Anything Media, Inc. (“AMI”), stage by stage; the cost is reimbursed, to a cap, only if the claims are kept after the report.

Claim owners

Who will I be dealing with?

  • John Shebanow, the company’s VP of Acquisitions, from first call to signed agreement, not a broker. The board approves each acquisition.
  • Agreements are written, title-reviewed and recorded with the county and BLM.
  • Claims are kept in good standing as the agreement sets out.
How it works for owners

Family offices & institutions

Can this team scale?

  • A lean core uses specialist firms for staking, title, geology and permitting, so fixed costs stay low.
  • Senior hires are planned in a set order, tied to milestones (below).
  • Independent directors and an audit committee are planned before any listing.

Banks & underwriters

Is the story clear and defensible?

  • One-sentence strategy, U.S.-only assets, and technical claims limited to what a Qualified Person signs.
  • A business-led team by design. Technical conclusions come from independent Qualified Persons, and mining roles are added at defined stages.
  • Gaps are stated openly, with the role and timing for each.
  • Semple, Marchal & Cooper, LLP, a PCAOB-registered firm, has been selected as auditor. Securities counsel has been engaged.

Building the bench

Roles the company is filling, and when

Triple 8’s officers are business, finance and legal professionals by design: for undeveloped claims, the harder problem is usually the capital and the transaction, not the geology. As claim groups move toward development, and before any listing, the company intends to add mining expertise and an independent board in this order.

Today, technical review is done by outside specialists. Advanced Geologic is the staking contractor for Buckingham, and any technical report is signed by an independent Qualified Person. The board decides whether to acquire, advance, hold or drop each claim group on that advice.

Timing is a target, not a guarantee. Experienced mining professionals interested in a board or senior role can write through the inquiry form.

Independent technical work

Who does the technical work

Technical reports on the company’s claims are prepared by independent firms and signed by Qualified Persons under Regulation S-K subpart 1300. They are not part of the Triple 8 team.

Glendale placer project (AMI)
Arowe, Inc., engaged and paid by Anything Media, carries out the phased program under an independent Qualified Person. Stage 1 of 5 is underway. Triple 8 does not employ or direct them.
Buckingham lode claims
Advanced Geologic Exploration, Inc. is the staking contractor. The exploratory S-K 1300 report is planned, subject to funding, and is not yet contracted.

Each Qualified Person, and their credentials, will be identified in the signed Technical Report Summary. Any resource or reserve disclosure requires a dated S-K 1300 Technical Report Summary signed by a Qualified Person.
